Thanks to the global memory crisis known as “RAMageddon,” prices on memory products like internal drives, external SSDs, and high-capacity flash storage have continued to climb. It’s been a relentless up, up, and up trajectory as AI demand squeezes consumer supply.

That makes finding genuine discounts during Prime Big Deal Days — Amazon’s 48-hour fall savings event that ends today, Oct. 7 — all the more crucial.

High-speed NVMe drives, rugged external SSDs, microSD cards, and HDDs are Prime Day staples that matter more than ever amid RAMageddon. If you’ve been waiting to expand your PC build, give your PS5 some breathing room, or secure your off-site backups, now is the time to take advantage of these offers from top-tier brands like Samsung, Sandisk, and more.
