Maya Crypto, the spot trading feature of the digital bank Maya, has gradually expanded its digital asset offerings since its launch in 2023. While the platform initially focused on a core group of established tokens, it has since diversified its list to include stablecoins, layer-2 tokens, and popular memecoins.
Maya Crypto Token List
Upon its debut, Maya Crypto supported a foundational set of 24 tokens:
- Major Assets: BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, ADA, DOT, AVAX, LINK, ATOM, ALGO
- Stablecoins & Ecosystem: USDC, USDT, MATIC (now POL), CRO
- Niche & Utility: FIL, APE, QNT, UNI, SAND, XLM, AXS, MANA
- Meme Tokens: DOGE, SHIB
As of Feb. 18, 2026, the platform has grown to 33 available tokens. The nine additional cryptocurrencies introduced to the app include:
- PAXG: A digital asset pegged to the value of physical gold.
- BNB: The native utility token for the Binance ecosystem.
- XRP: The native asset for the Ripple network.
- SUI: The native token for the Sui layer-1 blockchain.
- NEAR: The native token for the NEAR Protocol.
- OP: The governance token for the Ethereum layer-2 network, Optimism.
- Memecoins: WIF (dogwifhat), BONK (Solana-based), and PEPE (Ethereum-based).




How to Trade Crypto in Maya Crypto?
Step 1: Open the Maya app.
Step 2: Choose the “Crypto” feature.
Step 3: Move funds from the Maya wallet to the Maya Crypto wallet.
Step 4: Choose the crypto to be bought or sold.
Step 5: Type in the amount to be bought or sold.
Step 6: Confirm the transaction.
What is Maya Crypto?
Maya started allowing its users to buy and sell crypto in 2023 through a partnership with Coinbase Institutional in 2022. Maya holds a VASP license from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. To ensure transparency and security, Maya has continuously updated its terms and conditions, specifically regarding its protocols for coin listing and delisting.
Sending and receiving crypto in Maya have remained unavailable for quite some time. However, as of today, both features, including the option to buy and sell tokens, are available to Maya users.
