Why we like it
The ASUS ROG Strix G16 offers a zippy AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX with 16 cores and 32 threads that boosts to 5.4GHz. That’s more CPU power than most gaming laptops at this size usually offer, so you’re getting a hefty amount of gaming power in a portable packge. Its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 makes it a powerful contender as well, with a 1920 x 1200 panel at 165Hz with a 3ms response time to cut down on lag time. It has a 1TB SSD for a respectable amount of storage, and a per-key RGB keyboard that you can customize to your liking.
